The Banyan Tree That Gave Shelter
This story helps mothers cultivate kindness, generosity, and emotional warmth during pregnancy.
The greatest strength is often found in those who quietly serve others.
In a peaceful forest stood a great banyan tree whose branches spread wide across the landscape. Birds built nests among its leaves, travelers rested beneath its shade, and animals found shelter during storms. The tree never asked for anything in return. One summer, a severe heat wave arrived. Streams became smaller and many animals struggled to find comfort. Yet the banyan tree continued offering shade and protection to everyone who came near. Watching this, a young deer asked an old owl why the tree helped so many creatures. The owl replied that true generosity comes naturally when the heart is full. The deer reflected on those words and began helping smaller animals whenever possible. Over time, kindness spread throughout the forest. The banyan tree taught everyone that caring for others creates a stronger and happier community.
